Biggest release week of the year so far with 77. This is the first list this year where Substack told me it might be too long for email. If the email client you use truncates the email, you can go to the website (metal-connect.com) to see everything. It will be right at the top of the page. There are quite a few releases this week that I am looking forward to and should keep everyone busy.
Stand outs this week:
Stellar Rot - Debut album from atmospheric black metal duo out of the US. From their Bandcamp: “Stellar Rot began as a concept to explore the deep lore around the Grimdark universe, pulling imagery from a world tormented by countless horrors from beyond the void and humankind being pushed to the brink after unfathomable atrocities they committed to conquer the stars over the course of several millennia.”
Draugr - Second album from Austrian black metal band with norse mythology lyrical themes.
Also looking forward to: Krolok - Bloodmother - Wharflurch - Ludgar - Ice Thunder - Theosophy - Mindvile - Iskald - Autumnfall - Nordicwinter - Uburen - Victims of Contagion - The Last Oblation - Stellar Silence
