Biggest week of the year so far with 61 releases. This week continues the trend of black metal albums with several atmospheric and post black metal. Some promising death and death doom, and a funeral doom album that I’m looking forward to.
Stand outs this week:
Speglas - Debut album from Swedish blackened death metal band. The first two singles sound great.
Toward the Throne - Second album from French blackened atmospheric death metal band with some melancholy mixed in. Really amazing blend of all the subgenres.
Necrofier - Third album from melodic black metal band from Texas. This one is separated into 3 parts separated by 3 instrumental tracks inspired by movie soundtracks.
