New Metal Releases April 10th 2026
Inferi - Archspire - Tethys - Melechesh - Immolation - Uada - Ricket - Vomitory - Urluk - Sicarius - Paisaunt - Nukem - Caustic - Skaphos - And More...
What a week this is going to be. Inferi and Archspire both releasing new albums on the same day. Two tech death titans and a couple other big death metal releases.
Stand outs this week:
Inferi - Seventh album from melodic tech death band out of Tennessee. Spencer Moore on drums for the last time on this release so the drumming will be outstanding. He’s definitely one of my favorite drummers. While I’m bummed he’s not with Inferi anymore, I’m happy to see him with Archspire.
Archspire - Fifth album from Canadian tech death band. From their bio: “Since 2009, Archspire has aimed to be one thing above all else: extreme. With their upcoming release Too Fast to Die, they’ve once again raised the bar for what extreme music can be.”
Tethys - Debut album from Denver based tech death band. There are some clean vocals in here and typically I’m not a fan of cleans in tech death but I don’t hate them here. What’s been released so far sounds very promising and I always like to promote bands that are local to me.
