Norwegian progressive metal act Course Of Fate proudly announce the release of their upcoming studio album, Behind The Eclipse, due out January 30, 2026 via ROAR!

Guitarist Kenneth Henriksen shares a striking reflection behind the song:
“Some walk in the brightest of light all their life. Most wander in gloom, with sudden bursts of illumination. A few will soar high above the clouds - gazing directly into the blazing sun, only to fall, deep into the darkness. Many a time, those who fall will grab hold on others as they descend, dragging them into the dark. It is a good thing, then, that only in the rarest of times a soul falls so hard that it seems like the whole sky is falling with it.”
Following their critically acclaimed concept album Mindweaver (2020) – hailed alongside classics like Operation: Mindcrime, Scenes from a Memory, and The Wall – and their powerful sophomore effort Somnium (2023), Course Of Fate return with their most dynamic and heavy material yet.
Behind The Eclipse presents a diverse collection of songs where light and darkness intertwine—both musically and lyrically. Though not a concept album, each track connects through this theme, showcasing the band’s signature mix of melodic depth, progressive sophistication, and emotional weight!
