Stellar curation, honestly these monthly roundups are such a smart move compared to waiting for year end lists. The Tjaktjadalvve pick especially caught my attention since Ive been sleeping on depressive atmospheric black metal for too long. Matthew Bell's work with Austere was already impressive but this solo project sounds like it channels a diferent kind of emotional depth. Gonna give it a proper spin tonight.
Thank you so much. I hope you like Tjaktjadálvve, it's so good. I'm a big fan of Austere too and I need to check out Matthew Bell's other projects. I've been getting a lot more into atmospheric black metal over the last year or so and more into depressive black metal more recently. And I really like them together.
This is a welcome addition to the newsletter. Cool to see.
